Sébastien Carassou est docteur en astrophysique, auteur et vulgarisateur scientifique indépendant. Il est le co-animateur de la chaîne YouTube Le Sense of Wonder et auteur de plusieurs ouvrages de vulgarisation scientifique, documentaires et podcasts traitant d'astrophysique, de cosmologie, d'exobiologie, des sciences du système Terre et d'exploration spatiale. Depuis 2024, il est le coordinateur scientifique de Sanctuary on the Moon, un projet français de capsule temporelle lunaire, ainsi que le coordinateur pédagogique de l'édition en ligne des Rencontres Exobiologiques pour Doctorants.
