Chercheuse CNRS au LATMOS

Caroline Freissinet est chercheuse CNRS en exobiologie au LATMOS. Elle occupe ce poste depuis 2017, après avoir effectué six années de recherche au centre NASA Goddard aux Etats-Unis. Elle s'intéresse à la matière organique dans le système solaire: ses sources, ses puits et sa distribution ; c'est ainsi qu'elle recherche des traces de vie extraterrestre. Son travail s'articule autant autour de la chimie de laboratoire que sur la conception de sondes spatiales à destination des corps d'intérêt exobiologique du système solaire: Mars, Titan, Europe, Encelade, Cérès...
